Foundation to kick off the Future Graduates Summer Tech
Internship Program. Future Graduates enhances high school youth
access to real-world job training placing students at innovative San
Francisco-based tech companies in paid summer internships. Program encourages
students to graduate high school, pursue fulfilling careers, and lead
productive and healthy lives. sf.citi member companies participating:
Pathbrite, Jawbone, Giggo, 6waves, Hipmunk, Sincerely, Zozi, Black Founders,
Cloudera, Zoosk, blackgirlsCODE, Viumbe. In addition, sf.citi member Pathbrite
will help students track their internship progress People Portfolios.
Highlighting the innumerable possibilities of success and
learning that lie ahead, spearheaded by Chief of Police Greg Suhr, sf.citi has
committed $25,000 to the Future Graduates program to fund these paid
internships, and from our membership sf.citi has secured 20 internship pledges
from 12 SF-based tech companies. The program launches today, Wednesday June 20
at 2pm at the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco.
