Voting Open for "30 Seconds to College" Sweepstakes - Prize is a Car

Good Afternoon Colleagues,

I’m excited to report that we received a total of 25 video submissions for the “I Can Afford College” campaign’s “30 Seconds to College” sweepstakes, sponsored by iHeart Media. Thank you again for your help promoting the contest to all of the students on your campus.

The voting period is now open! All of the video entries are posted on our sweepstakes website, which you can link to from our home page, at www.icanaffordcollege.com. Students are allowed to vote for their favorite video once per day, between April 1st through April 24th.

One lucky voter will be chosen at random to receive this year’s grand-prize of a car! The three videos that receive the most votes will receive cash scholarships in the amounts of $1,500 (first place), $500 (second place), and $250 (third place).

Please encourage your students to participate by casting their votes! We would be happy to provide additional sweepstakes posters to put up on campus, as well as sample Facebook and Twitter posts for your use (if your campus is active on social media).

If you would like to request posters or social media posts — or, if you have any questions about the “30 Seconds to College” sweepstakes — please feel free to contact me or our “I Can Afford College” Campaign Manager Lindsay Pangurn (Lindshall@gmail.com).

Take care,

Paige Marlatt Dorr, Director of Communications
