National Cybersecurity Institute Journal
Special Issue:

The Role of Community Colleges in Developing the Cybersecurity Workforce

National Cybersecurity Institute Journal, in collaboration with the National CyberWatch Center, is extending a special issue call for abstracts and papers on the role of community colleges in developing the cybersecurity workforce. This special issue provides an opportunity for researchers, educators and practitioners to advance the national dialogue on how community colleges are developing innovative education and training programs to meet the demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals.

Submissions of all types, including conceptual, empirical and practice-based research reports, that address the special issue theme are encouraged.

The initial 150-250 word abstract submission should state the purpose, results and conclusions of the work to be described in the final paper. Abstracts should be submitted in block style, aligned to the left. Author and co-author names, affiliations and email contacts should be included beneath the title. References do not need to be included in the abstract.

Authors will be invited to submit full article manuscripts based on a favorable abstract review. Manuscripts should be written for a broad audience that will include community college and university faculty and students, practitioners, researchers and policy-makers. Each manuscript must be prepared in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docs) and submitted with necessary graphics, citations, and references in accordance with the APA 6th edition.
