ACM order #99914 for a hard copy (pay only shipping and handling)

The ACM CCECC, at the direction of the ACM Education Board, convened a task force of subject matter and learning assessment experts from both academe and industry to define the core Information Technology (IT) learning outcomes common among all associate-degree IT programs along with assessment metrics.

The final report, endorsed by the ACM Education Board and published in the ACM Digital Library, embeds these core IT competencies into an expanded volume of IT curricular guidance which includes the opportunity for faculty at individual institutions to correlate a degree program or certificate of completion with the ACM guidelines. A growing list of existing correlations is available from www.capspace.org/ITcorrelations/.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need assistance correlating your program or certificate.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth K. Hawthorne, PhD
Chair, ACM Committee for Computing Education in Community Colleges
