COE Materials Released in December - Great Work Already Underway

On December 19th, the Certification of Eligibility Materials were released. Since then we have heard excellent feedback from the field of partnerships forming and existing partnerships expanding upon their work. Shared leadership on this project between school districts and community college districts is important to reach the goal of improving California's adult education system. We have heard promising stories of shared leadership and would like to remind all consortia to work using the strengths of both the school and community college systems.

As a reminder, the COE Cover Sheet is due from the consortia fiscal agents by January 31, 2014 and the supporting documents are due by February 24, 2014. To access the Certification of Eligibility Materials, please visit our website, ab86.cccco.edu or CLICK HERE. District Mapping Tool Available

Currently available on the AB 86 website, ab86.cccco.edu, is a new mapping tool. The tool allows school districts to see which community college district boundary or boundaries they are in and allows community college districts to see which school districts are in within their boundaries. This will tool will help school and community college districts determine which organizations should be included as members of their regional consortia.

CLICK HERE to access the mapping tool and following the directions on our site to search the map for your organization. Please be patient with this tool as we have received reports that internet security settings of an organization may prevent access to the tool and some browsers cause the program to run slowly. If you are having trouble accessing the tool, please contact your IT department or contact us at ab86@cccco.edu.
