The New Workplace Currency Is Not Just Salary Anymore

Employers are learning that there are new rules for attracting talented millennials. A Cisco survey of more than 2,800 college students and young professionals in 14 countries found that the preference for social media freedom, device flexibility, and work mobility was more important than salary when considering a job offer. One in three college students and young employees under the age of 30 (33%) said that they would take lower pay for these choices.
