IPv6 Certifications

Hi,

I meant to post this last week but I had jury duty. And it was during my spring break week! They didn't select me for any juries. Instead I gave them a list of other instructors at Cabrillo College that I thought would make much better jurors than myself. :)

Hurricane Electric offers a free IPv6 certification. Like they say it is "both entertaining and educational". You even get a free T-shirt at the end! I have stood hours in lines at Networkers for those free ****-large T-shirts. (By the way, I'm a medium and not because I tell the future.)

Anyways here is the link for Hurricane Electric's IPv6 Certification with the information on this site below:

I also want to give you a couple of links that will help you navigate this certification. It is from a friend of mine, Sam Bowne who teaches at CCSF:

You will also demonstrate that you are familiar with IPv6 concepts such as:

  • the format of IPv6 addresses
  • AAAA records
  • reverse DNS for IPv6
  • the IPv6 localhost address
  • the IPv6 default route

Users say that the Hurricane Electric Free IPv6 certification service is both entertaining and educational.

Enjoy!
