SANS goal in making these courses available as open courseware is to help grow the talent pool and accelerate the rate at which skilled cyber professionals can enter the information security industry. AVAILABLE NOW! SANS Cyber Aces Online launched on Sept.1, 2014, in a new open course format. The tutorials are now available any time it fits participants’ schedules. TUTORIALS SANS Cyber Aces Online covers the three foundation areas of information security; Operating Systems, Networking and Systems Administration. REGISTRATION PROCESS No registration is required to view the tutorial modules. Registration is required for participants who wish to take the quizzes. Registration for the quizzes opens on Dec.3, 2014 at 8AM ET. NEW QUIZ FORMAT The new open course format will offer all quizzes simultaneously, giving participants more options to participate than before. The first set of quizzes will be offered on December 3rd, 4th & 5th. Participants may choose to take only one or two of the quizzes and return the next quarter to take the remaining quizzes to complete the program.
